Heya champions!!
Been out of the house since yesterday spending quality time with my folks. Had lunch at some posh but nice chinese restaurant in town. Nice dim sum but not very filling. Hit the gym and pool next. Good exercise but too many people in the pool so hard to really have a good swim.
Had dinner in a nice japanese restaurant. Ate lots of beef, got sick of sashimi and sushi. Man, love buffets, pity only the teppanyaki was worth going back for. I am quite sick of raw fish and wasabi. The cheese cakes were yummy!
Watched soccer till i slept.
Soaked myself in a hot bath for 1 hour then went for a light breakfast.
Thats about all.
Message to all: Spend some time with your folks, it will be a lot cheaper and happier than with your frens!!!!!!!!

Today was a shock for me. First, i was told that tomorrow i have to go to go a place in the middle of Lim Chu Kang to do a test on safety for one hour. The problem the time taken travelling is equal to one hour plus. Stupid but true.
Worse still is now i have to stay there clean a vehicle. Fine, it is not so bad but I was supposed to be off duty. I guess they will repay me. Experience beats slacking anytime.
The only good shock i got was seeing Vanessa on the way on the MRT. She was getting off the very door I was getting into. She looks a lot thinner. I guess I look very different in military fatigues and a back pack.
Back to work!

Okay, this has really pissed me off. Blogger cant work well and I cant see why. The first time i typed this blog, my computer crashed because i was to interested in getting my scholarship application. The second time was due to poor processing so the whole window got closed.
Anyway, been really busy this week, training to defend my country from juz about anyone. Was fun going to the training area and training for three days. Didnt bathe for three days, slept in the vehicle. Now, despite my injuries , I am happy.
Calling all Anne Rice fans, is Black wood Manor any good? I am seriously having problems reading it because of its content. Spiritophilia and lack of vampires in a vampire novel is not appealing to me.
Basically, now i feel much better and so much more ready to perform my services to the nation!

Hey all,
Second time typing this blog due to my overenthuthism to get my scholarship application done. Been too busy training out in the middle of nowhere. I know where it but not gonna tell anyone though might well be in the middle of nowhere.
The week has been fruitful. Prepared for training on Monday then went for training on Tuesday. Stayed in the training area until Friday morning then went back to my camp. Learnt how to do things well and to navigate around using a map and compass while on the move at 40km/h. Fun time out there despite lack of bathing facilities and sleeping space. Now i can say I can survive out in the wilderness in a car for three days.
To all Anne Rice fans, please tell me that Blackwood Manor was the worst book written by her and guide me to her best work so I can re-evaluate her books. Now having a serious problem finishing the book.

Depression has set into the minds of my peers and myself. Many the expections of our superiors has weighed our hearts but we will overcome the depressing time and fly high again.
This week in soccer showed that the ball is truly round and crap teams will lose. Juve, Chelsea and Liverpool have qualified for the next stage in the Champions League. All won convincingly and not scrappily digging a win out.
With Man U and Real Madrid out, the possible winners now are: Chelsea, Juventus and Milan. Of course, Liverpool might juz win it due to sheer luck and skill. Luis Garcia has breathed some life into Liverpool's hopes for the future. Now, only Liverpool has a real reason to fight hard in Europe. Chelsea has its domestic title and League Cup in wraps, Juve and Milan will be fighting for 1st in the Serie A. The rest are smaller fish but not to be discounted. Another repat of last year's minnow battle in the Finals will be very disappointing. PSV vs Lyon will be a serious anti-climax to this year's Champions League Final not so much because both teams are not good but because both teams dun have ultra-famous stars like Neved, Robben, Drogba or Gerrad. Liverpool should win the Champions League juz to spite Mourinho and and wake the whole Chelsea team from its slumber and complacency.
As a Chelsea fan, it is heart-breaking to see Chelsea fail to keep clean sheets in Europe, drop points to Man City. Perhaps Mourinho needs to go shopping again but I hope he does not buy for the sake of buying or do a 'Real Madrid' and buy some aging star. Gerrad would be useful to Chelsea but a winger would be better. Buying Sneijder would be good.
Well, I am juz an armchair critc but I strongly believe that Chelsea must really buck up if they seriously wish to get a treble.

You scored as Gemini. You get along best with the sign of Gemini. Although Geminis tend to be gossipy, and 'chatter-boxy', they can be some of the most brilliant people you'll ever meet. Communication is their domain. They are very intellectual, and quick witted.

Cool!!!!!
Anyway the week be the best in ages!!!!!!! Swam, slacked around while having time to think of my future and past. Feel much better now. Hoping to do well for my IPPT tomorrow so I can get 200 bucks!

Hey all.
Juz back from a really fun swimming competition. Met lots of cool people like Bryan Chan and Shawn Lee. Musa my ex-vice-captain (nice two hyphens) and Lih Han were there too. It felt so good to be at Changi Naval Base. (Even though it is in the middle of nowhere). The pool was clear and well maintained. The officials were really nice and it wasnt like any military occasion. Swam my best today. No medals but at least I am within 20 secs of my best timing for my 200m IM and 200m Backstroke. Thats fantastic considering I am fat, out of training and very tired.

Well, life sucks as usual. Got thrown another COS duty so came home late. I guess my life as a soldier means I have to experience everything before I can give others things.
Monday was juz admin and then book out for Nights Off. Quite fun really. Did a little bit of exercise but i really need to lose weight.
Tuesday was servicing a maintence of vehicle day. Fun when you dun do it everyday but it gets on your nerves when you do servcing every other day for the sake opf appearances. Went for training again. Fun though when you get to skip boring stuff and go do something you want to do.
Wenesday, POI day. Had lotsa fun going for lectures and learning stuff. Went for training again but at least i feel my speed returning. Ended up back in camp looking after the office. Fun day though.
Thursday was POI training again! Had loads of fun playing with vehicles and bashing each other into the wall. Well, as in all fun things, weather and time spoilt the day. It rained like it was monsoon season and not summer. We ran out of time by the end of the rain so ended up training in the lecture room. Fun day!
Friday, had ICCT mock grading. Was okay until the instructr went berserk and I guess with good reason. Training a bunch of guys not interested in anything military is definitely a challenge. The second half of the day was releaxed with everyone gone to set butt. Booked out and went home.
This week was a psychologically stressful week. My cuzs got their results for their Os and As. Ted did pretty well with 14 pts for his Os. That very good considering he did not put in a lot of effort. Serena did very well with 2As a B and GP B3. Equall to me and more value added. CJC has shown that it can churn out capable students.
