The holidays are finally ending.... Not that I am sad or scared. Just wishful it could last longer. Though I see myself being less purposeful and more slack and unmotivated to use my life to serve God during the holidays and even weekends. Once school starts, my aim is simple. To work with God to get my >3.6 semester CAP and a >3.05 overall CAP. To train hard for this remaining half a month for Nationals (open and still water). To serve God and to bring someone (anyone) to know God as Lord and Saviour.
After working as an usher for 3 weeks for Alpha and meeting people like Kezia, Alex, Natie and Hui Fen, I feel I want to try to apply for service-level ushering. I will have to consult God, my CL and my shepherd on this. I really think its time I give something back to Hope of God Church.
This semester will be different, many friends I know will be thousands of kilometres away on Student Exchange. My clique in ULC will more or less disintegrate for the semester. More new faces at HQ and less old faces. Being a year and a half Christian, there is no more fooling around being the clown or kid of the CG and unit. I guess its time to grow up as fast as I grow old.
As JK likes to say: This sem will be better! My reply and personal rallying cry is: ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

YEAH!!! 330th post!
And in real news! I got my Gold for IPPT. First one since leaving the army in 2006. (Okay I have only taken 2 IPPTs since then). The amazing thing is 2 weeks ago my time for 2.4km run/walk (who walks for 2.4km hoping to pass siah?) was 12mins and 30+ seconds. Today, I did a 9mins 33sec. A miracle!!!! So happy! My other stations were as expected. A bit slower than usual for shuttle run but still 5 points so who cares....
Body aches.... Brain fried.... but happy!!!!
