This is probably the last time you will see my blog updated in four weeks. I am leaving for Taiwan in a few days time to train and learn about the country. Hopefully i will come back better than i was!

After reading an article on urban warfare, i realised that the UN is very biased against offensive action. So much so that i would rather let its own UN peacekeepers die than change the rules of engagment.

In many terrorist or urban conflicts, the locals used civilians and children to help them 'take' enemy fire. Innocents die but the monsters lived. Israel lost 23 soldiers trying to secure Jenin when they could have captured it faster and with much less casualities. A coward hides behind his sister when a confronted by someone equal or superior to him. A true soldier will use what he is taught to engage his opponent. the terrorist seem to think that by hiding behind the skirts of their persercuted women they will win!

Well..... Congrats to them! They fell into the trap set by the very people they sought to trap and kill. Genocide is a common solution to troublesome regions and people. By choosing to fight in the urban areas where many of your own people live, you are assisting the aggressor to kill your people and claim collateral damage! In war people die, why let you enemy have the opportunity to exterminate your people and go scot free? Maybe too long in the caves of Afghanistan has atrophied the mind of Osama. You wanna win? Stick to bombing and other none confrontational methods. Urban warfare is the way to lose and it is cowardly. God has no space in Heaven for cowards!

On a motivational note

Quotes I find very meaningful:
' The greatest commmanders do not just deliver their men to victory, they deliver thier men home alive and well!'

' To win the respect men, you must sometimes lose your pride!'

' To err is human, to forgive is divine'

Hey all! Been busy with my military stuff. The past week has been fun but extremely tiring for me. Slept fitfully for an average of 5 hours every night for 4 nights. Fear of losing our stuff due to stealing by our own instructors. Backstabbing at its best! An army which the men dun trust their commanders with anything but their lives. Training i guess...... I somehow doubt it!
Got a bad rash to show for my efforts in the field.
Friday and Saturday was slack. We spent the whole day cleaning weapons and sleeping. The night was fun, beacuse we spent it sticking stickers and listening to our instructors talk non-military stuff.
Last night was fun. Went to my coach's bbq and had a lot more fun then i would at home. Played basketball and talked a lot of stuff.
argh........ too tired to type.
Gonna hit the sack now!
