Beach Training at Sentosa
Mood: Happy Music: Superwoman by Cao Ge, Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio
Saturday, I went to Sentosa for beach training. The day started very rush. I woke up at 845am when i had to be at Harbourfront MRT by 930am. Thankfully, my parents were supportive of my passion for lifesaving so sent me to the MRT station at Harbourfront, but i was still late but at least not late for the team move off to Sentosa.
When we arrived, we immediately changed and got into the sea to learn about surfboard rescue. Okay, we learnt how to use the surfboard. It was fun. And then we learnt how to canoe using the surfboard, which was cool too. I had lots of fun falling into the sea and get up again. Kind of like life, you fall off, you get on again and continue with your course.
Anyway, lets say I learnt a lot of things besides playing with a surfboard and how to canoe, like how to swim in the sea and how to react fast. The sea is a fun place to play but without the safety given by the lifeguards and vigilance, it can be very dangerous.
Peace!

Stolen from Luke's blog.
Confusion Says:
Man with hand in pocket, always on the ball.
Never trust an asshole, for he is always full of shit.
If your nose runs and your feet smell, you were born upside down.
Man who jump of cliff is jumping to his own conclusion.
Man who stand on toilet is high on pot.
Man who drop watch in whisky is wasting time.
Long, beating around the bush, answers will be penalised; Short concise answers will be analysed
Be friendly to bacteria, its the only culture some people have!
Man who run in front of car is tyred, Man who run in behind car is exhausted.
Man who put 2 girls in 1 car get into accident.
Yes, its lame. So what?

There comes a time when we cannot allow others to drag us down.
Even if they are our close frens or loyal team mates. When personal pursuits clash with our common good eg. projects, its time I do what I need to do and let the others rot.
I dun care about grades and honours but that doesnt mean I heck care everything. I want to do well and have pride in what i do. Thats all.

Birthdays
Today is my dad's birthday. So I got him a cake and came home for dinner. Its the least i could do for him.
Incidently, today is also the date my nephew decided he wanted to see the world. i.e. he was born today 10 Oct 2006. Same day as my dad. Means i wont forget their b'daes so easily.

Freedom
After 1 week of complete freedom, its back to school and the drudgery of lectures and early mornings.
I dun mind going school and studying. I mind waking up early, going for lectures and being bored outta my wits.
Call me lazy, piggy or ill-disciplined but I am a person who does everything for a reason.
I study to get my degree not to have petty competitions with others. I join a CCA to make friends and learn something. I dun like running around like a headless chicken.
I want my freedom yet to achieve freedom we must allow for restrictions. Contradictory Irony...
