It seems that my thoughts about Mourinho's sanity and knowledge of the game has been proven the the last 3 games. Not only has his acquistions failed to perform, but Man U with all its problems is crushing all comers with ease. The purchease of 2 aging captains, 1 relative unknown and a young kid doesnt represent good buys. Compare his purcheases with say liverpool: Fabio Aurelio, Mark Gonzalez, Jermaine Pennant, Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt. Good players currently and still have some to give.
Mourinho needs a left back and he failed to get one for 2 months. He could have bought Fabio A who is not that bad. Instead, he chose to sell Del Horno and try and get Ash Cole. The situation now is that Chelsea still have no extra left back though Khalid can play left back. Gallas the immature is left in the cold with Cole.
The sadness of the situation is that Man U is cruising though the league and Arsenal/Chelsea are bickering over defenders. Who needs Roy Keane? Man U are playing tons better than Chelsea who have not 1 but 3 holding midfielders.
This goes to show that he who buys last buys best. Shame on you Mourinho!!!!!
