An interesting thought came to me: what if all the killer diseases in the world now were sent by GOD to cure us of our sins or bad habits? It all started from a thought of those dying of cancer. I remembered my old grumpy (but kind) science teacher telling us that researchers should spend less time on finding a cure for AIDS and work on one for cancer. Then my classmate Rohai or something said 'but think of the children'. Then she said something like: ' AIDS is a disease sent by GOD to killing those who have sex casually!'
That was like sec 2 so i guess my mind never allowed me to forget it. Well, if AIDS is GOD's way of saying: no casual sex then SARS is GOD's way of forcing us to have good personal hygiene. So now who says GOD is not around.
Lets see, what else diseases are there? Cancer, leukemia, hepatitis, dengue fever, malaria and ebola. Well thats all i will do today.
Cancer is the divine punishment for polluting the enviroment and playing with chemicals. (Think asbestos to lung cancer and CFCs to skin cancer)
Leukemia is what GOD will give to you if you insist on playing with radioactive stuff and not washing their hands.
Dengue fever and malaria are GOD's way of teaching us to stop keeping still water when we want to 'advance'.
Ebola is how the Almighty Lord tells you to stop eating apes and monkeys. (in fact leave them alone!)
It seems to me that we were never meant to advance this far and mess with GOD's stuff. AIDS and Ebola evolved from our experiments, SARS might be too. Cancer and leukemia come from messing with stuff that we would not get into if we were still living in caves. Dengue and malaria is due to our lack of ablity to truly copy GOD so we get such diseases due to stilled water.
GOD is jealous but not at us because we are not half as good as he is. He is jealous of the power the false leaders of the world have over his people. Jealous of our scientific breakthroughs that make us disbelieve in him. So thats why we have to keep getting sick and die. GOD's true punishment will come from a plague that strikes faster than we can react. The Three Horsemen of Prophecy shall come and scythe us without us even noticing. The war has started, the diseases are starting to be more killer, the pests are becoming even more resistant to our weapons of mass destruction. We wont survive a nuclear war but the rats and cockroaches will and they will evolve to inherit the world.
GOD has abandoned us to our own mistakes. The more we dig into the secrets of GOD, the deeper the hole we will have to climb out of when we realise our mistakes.
Well I believe that we should stop advancing and think of ways to save ourselves from destruction. If not our descendants will suffer the fate that rats and cockroaches suffer now at our hands.
GOD helps the weak not the strong so we must help the weak to become strong. It is from others and our own weaknesses can we become stronger than we are now. No number of weapons can make you strong enough to defeat GOD or even his will.
I rant but only time and God can tell if I am right or wrong.
