The Day the Better Team Lost

19th of May will be remembered as a day the better team lost in the FA Cup final. Man U with everything going for them, no injuries, no fear and the elation of winning the League versus Chelsea with 8-10 first team players injured, manager on the way out, captain wants out, etc...
Man U lost a match they should have won so they have every right to be bitter.
As soon as I began watching the match, I knew the FA Cup was Man U's to lose. The Stadium was red in colour meaning more Red Team fans aka Man U fans. Chelsea played SWP (short wright philips) and Obi (Wan) Mikel as starters with Essien as a centreback.
The signs that Chelsea could actually pull of an upset came when Man U nearly scored 2 own goals and Drogba was clear on goal more than once. Rooney and Scholes thought they were playing in the 1994 FA Cup where Chelsea was a much easier opposition so tried to score spectacular goals which ended up being painful misses.
The tackles were terpid and weak. Both teams played as if the match didnt matter and there was no difference who won the FA Cup. Maybe there wasnt. Maybe Man U didnt think the FA Cup was important since they won the League, got kicked out by a D1 team in the LC, slapped into reality by Kaka during the UCL. Oh well.... Fatigue killed yesterday's match. It was boring and the people around me were supporting both teams just so the dull pain of boredom would end. Being a Chelsea fan, I chose to stay loyal to a team which this season flopped beyond my wildest imaginations. Drawing to Everton, Bolton, Arsenal and Man U isnt a good sign of a champion. I digress....
My deepest impression wasnt Drogba's goal but Ryan Giggs foul on Cech in a cheap attempt to win the match. He literally kicked Cech into the goal. I did that before. Kicked a guy when he was down in an attempt to clear the ball. Needless to say, everyone including my own team mates werent amused. Giggs should have been booked for trying to injure Cech. Of course thats water under the brigde since Drogba showed Man U how a goal should be scored.
Man U with all the support of the neutrals and die-hards got the League title which they deserved but they showed they werent equal to the team i supported in the 1990s. Schimichel, Cantona, Keane and Beckham. The greatest team ever. Even Chelsea now has not managed to create such a perfect team. They lack a true midfield general, a free kick master and a world-class keeper. They have Rooney and Ronaldo but in 1999 they had Yorke, Cole and Giggs (and Beckham). Lets not dream dreams that will never happen. Chelsea has Makelele, Cech and Drogba. What they lack is a free kick specialist and fierce personality hormones. The great days of Man U will never come back so long as Fergie refuses to accept that he made a mistake get rid of Beckham and Keane.
Man U lost a match it should have won easily so next year lets hope they will be as strong a threat to Chelsea as they were this season. If not, I predict it will be a two-horse race between Chelsea and Liverpool.

Its been 1 week since I got my license. Driving license. The reasons for keeping this secret to myself have been many yet few come to mind at this moment. Perhaps after failing to get it made me believe absolute secrecy is the key to passing or the want to surprise everyone.
Now that its 1 week since I got my license and another 1-2 weeks before I get my photocard, might as well tell my readers that I have a license but not a car to use my licence so no free spins or tong pangs. I still take public transport.
Yesterday, was the craziest day of my holidays. I went to Jurong East Business Park to go for an interview with a company for a job as a technical specialist. The job interview went along fine, then met some new friends and went to Jurong Library to replenish my books for reading. Took half an hour to choose 3 books, man, I am losing my touch on finding good books quickly. Either that or I am getting very picky..... (Arugono= picky(piggy))
Took the MRT to Ang Mo Kio to meet Yufen and Seth for Lunch and dialogue. The Ang Mo Kio food centre we went to was a bit expensive for the quality of the food and the drinks uncle was a bit weird and scary. (Looking mildly intimidating with his comb and gestures, quite comical in my opinion :) ).
After that was Yio Chu Kang and a half an hour exploration of YCK to find Luke's place to catch 12 hours worth of Lord Of The Rings. Lets just say the experience was quite cool. 8 guys in 1 room, drinking coke, eating chips and making funny comments about Hobbits and Uru Kai. Good times....
I might be needing to work soon, I dun really want to work but yet if I want to enjoy 1 month of holidays, I got to work for 1 month or more. Working is for self subsistence over this holiday rather than a dire need. I might work this 1-2 months, I might spend the next 3 months poring over books and playing with my Matlab.
Only Gods knows.....

Navigation: P \ Phillips, Craig And Dean \ When God Ran
Almighty God, the great I am
Immovable rock, omnipotent, powerful, awesome
Lord Victorious warrior, commanding King of Kings
Mighty conqueror, and the only time
the only time I ever saw Him run
CHORUS:
Was when He ran to me,
He took me in His arms
Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again”
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
He said,“Son do you know I still love you?”
He caught me by surprise when God ran
The day I left home I knew I’d broken His heart
And I wondered then if things could ever be the same
Then one night I remembered His love for me
And down that dusty road ahead I could see
It was the only time – it was the only time I ever saw Him run
And then He ran to me, He took me in His arms
Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again”
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
He said,“Son do you know I still love you?”
He caught me by surprise as
He brought me to my knees
When God ran – I saw Him run to me
BRIDGE: I was so ashamed, all alone and so far away
But now I know
He’s been waiting for this day
I saw Him run to me, He took me in His arms
Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again”
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice I felt His love for me again
He ran to me, He took me in His arms
Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again”
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice He said, “Son”, He called me Son
He said, “Son do you know I still love you?”
He ran to me and then I ran to Him
When God ran
A song for those who have gotten distant from God.

9 days of exams, 16days of intense study, 4 months of school and its all over. I am finished!!!!!
Probable grades will be quite okay. As and Bs.
The feeling of happiness hasnt sunk in yet. The feeling of boredom and restlessness has started. Cant wait to go job hunting and work for a few weeks to survive till school starts and to pay for my trip to Malaysia.
So much has happened, so much pain, so much happiness and so much to look forward to.
May God Bless Me in these 3 months.
